Thinking about incorporating a raised platform stage? While it's not a necessity, having one can enhance your event and give your band a literal and figurative boost (pun intended, haha).

A raised platform stage can bring a concert-like feel to your wedding. It lifts the band, making it a centerpiece for those who appreciate that concert ambiance.

Advantages of a Raised Stage

1) Your band becomes the main attraction! Guests can easily see the performers from any spot in the room, adding to the excitement and connection with the music.

2) Concert-like atmosphere

3) Perfect for florals—designers can create lush arrangements around the stage base for a heightened (literally) visual impact.

Here are the recommended stage dimensions for a band when opting for a raised platform stage.

6-8 Piece Band: 16'x12'

8-11 Piece Band: 24'x12'

Standard stage height is 2 feet tall, but we can go as high as 4 feet!

Our stages are provided by our engineers at Five Fold Sound, a staple in both private events and the festival scene for decades, making having a stage a truly cool experience.

While outside vendors like decor companies can supply stages, here's why it's beneficial to have us provide the stage. Firstly, it arrives with our band, eliminating reliance on another vendor for setup. Most importantly, they are customizable 4x8 decks, allowing us to tailor your stage to fit your band perfectly.

Take a look at this wedding at The Adler Planetarium. You'll see how we customized the stage to highlight the vocalists and bring them closer to your guests for better interaction.

24x12 Raised Platform Stage

Don't have a 24-foot stage available in your venue? Try this! We performed at a corporate event for the Boys and Girls Club at the Wisconsin State Capitol, where we used a smaller stage to fit the space. We elevated the rhythm section on the stage and placed the singers on the floor. This setup created a two-dimensional feel. The singers could interact with your guests on the ground level, while the rest of the band, like the drums, was elevated. If you're unsure about stage sizes, you can invite us for a walk-through or send us your floor plan, and we'll guide you accordingly!

Our raised platform staging is available as an add on to any of our packages! Reach out and we'll be happy to add this on to your event!
