Lindsey and Grant’s Stunning Ivy Room Chicago wedding
The Ivy Room’s blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, with its lush courtyard and elegant interior, created an idyllic backdrop for Lindsey and Grant’s wedding. The versatility of the space allowed us to bring our full-scale DJ Hybrid performance to life, with plenty of room for the live elements to shine. The lounge downstairs was the cherry on top, providing a fresh setting for guests to continue the celebration into the night.
The DJ Hybrid Experience
Our DJ Hybrid setup, featuring a dynamic combination of saxophone, drums, and DJ, elevated the energy in the Ivy Room to new heights. The beauty of this venue is its ability to seamlessly accommodate both a high-energy Live DJ and live musical elements, creating an atmosphere that is both intimate and electric. The live saxophone added soulful melodies, the drums brought infectious beats, and the DJ kept the dance floor alive with a mix of classics and modern hits.
11pm-1am After Party with a SECOND LIVE DJ in the Lounge!
As the reception came to a close at 11 PM, the night was far from over. Guests descended to the cozy lounge downstairs for a vibrant afterparty. We set up a second live DJ with a turntable, sound system, and lights, transforming the space into an underground club-like vibe. It was only fitting that the last song of the reception was the timeless hit “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire, setting the perfect tone as guests transitioned to the afterparty.
