Looking for something that’s somewhere between a full band and a traditional DJ? DJ Hybrid Chicago, our sister company, combines the best of both worlds by pairing expert DJs with live saxophone, electric violin, or drums. It’s a best-of-both-worlds option that’s more engaging than a solo DJ but more flexible than a full band. Smaller footprint, lower price point, but always the same world-class talent.
Perfect for midweek mixers, brand activations, and events where space is tight but energy has to be anything but. Built by the same team, and backed by the same roster of world-class musicians.
Photo Booths
Guaranteed to be the part of the event with a line the whole entire night. Custom-branded backdrops, print overlays with your company logo or event hashtag, and instant sharing via text, email, or airdrop. Choose from our digital-only booth or full custom printing. Props are included, and there’s a professional attendant on-site the entire time.
Full Production
If you want the stage and dance floor to look as good as it sounds, consider adding our full production service. Raised platform staging, dance floor uplighting, wireless room uplighting in your brand colors, video walls, branded light-up wristbands, and concert-quality sound systems tailored to your venue's acoustics. One team handling entertainment and production means fewer vendors to coordinate and a seamless experience from load-in to last call.

What types of corporate events do you handle?
Holiday parties, galas, fundraisers, brand activations, anniversary celebrations, midweek mixers, birthday parties, and company milestones. If there's a room and a reason to celebrate, we've probably played it. We also offer discounted rates for non-profit and fundraising events.
What size ensemble should I book for my event?
It depends on the venue, guest count, and vibe you're going for. A jazz trio is perfect for a cocktail reception where conversation is the priority. A 6-8 piece band fills a ballroom and gets people dancing. Our full 10-15 piece band is for events where you want a showstopper. We also offer DJ Hybrid options — a DJ paired with live saxophone, electric violin, or drums — which are great for events with a smaller footprint or a more flexible format. We'll help you find the right fit on a quick call.
Can you provide background music and a dance party at the same event?
Absolutely — this is one of our specialties. Our musicians know exactly how to shift from sophisticated background music during cocktails and dinner to high-energy dance sets when it's time to let loose. Volume, energy, and repertoire all adjust seamlessly as your event evolves. No awkward transitions, no sudden jumps from jazz to Beyoncé without warning.
Do you offer themed performances?
Yes. Roaring 20s and Great Gatsby sets, Motown tribute shows, holiday music, decade-specific throwback nights — we tailor the repertoire and energy to match your event's concept. If you have a specific theme in mind, let us know and we'll build a custom setlist around it.
Can we pick the music?
You can be as involved as you want. Some clients hand us a playlist, some give us a genre direction and let us run with it, and some just say "keep people dancing." We build a custom setlist either way and run it by you before the event so there are no surprises.
What's included in the pricing?
All packages include premium sound and stage lighting, professional MC services, a sound engineer on-site for the entire event, and full setup and breakdown. No hidden fees — the price we quote is the price you pay. Add-ons like photo booths, uplighting, raised staging, and video walls are available à la carte so you can build exactly the package you need.
How far in advance should we book?
For holiday parties and galas in November and December, we recommend booking 2-4 months out. Midweek events and off-peak months are more flexible. That said, our best musicians get claimed quickly, so earlier is always better.
Do you travel outside Chicago?
Yes. We're based in Chicago and serve the entire Midwest — Milwaukee, Madison, Indianapolis, and beyond. We've played corporate events nationwide. Travel logistics are built into your proposal.
What's the booking process?
It starts with a quick call where we learn about your event — the venue, the format, the audience, and the energy you're going for. From there, we build a custom à la carte proposal. Once approved, it's a 50% deposit plus signed contract, with the remainder due 7 days before the event.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. We carry full liability insurance with a $2,000,000 policy. We coordinate directly with your venue to provide a Certificate of Insurance ahead of time — and if we've played there before, they likely already have it on file.
