Daniel & Katie’s Rooftop Wedding

Picture this: the iconic Chicago skyline view, the air buzzing with excitement, and Funktastic laying down the FUNK for Daniel and Katie’s big day at Morgan’s on Fulton. It was a party to remember, and we were all in for a night of love, laughter, and non-stop dancing.

From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted with tunes handpicked to set the perfect vibe for Daniel and Katie’s rooftop ceremony. 

Ceremony songs included: 

Processional song- “Bloom- The Paper Kites” 

Bridal entrance song- “Honey + Tea- Mozi” 

Recessional song- “Alive- Empire of the Sun”

Once the “I dos” were said and done, it was time to kick off the celebration in style. The wedding party made their grand entrance to the upbeat sounds of “Pepas” by Farruko, and you could feel the energy in the room! Daniel and Katie brought their A-game with their grand entrance, grooving to “Want, Need, Love” by Prospa and setting the tone for the night ahead. Our Chicago wedding band provided wireless microphones for their toasts during dinner and our MC led the night seamlessly into dancing.

For two hours of non-stop continuous music, Funktastic kept the hits coming, blending classics from Diana Ross and Earth, Wind & Fire with modern jams from Daft Punk and Michael Jackson. Featuring 3 powerhouse vocals in the 8pc band, they had everyone on their feet and the party going strong until the very end!

As the night came to a close, we couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been a part of such an epic celebration. Daniel and Katie’s wedding was everything you could want – love, laughter, and a whole lot of funk. Here’s to the happy couple and the start of their next chapter together!
