Salvage One Wedding in Chicago

One of our favorites that has quickly become a “home venue” for us is Salvage One! We loved partying with the night away with Audrey and Joe! We performed at Audrey’s brother’s wedding earlier in the summer, so Audrey & Joe went all out with Ceremony & Cocktail instruments, Dance Floor Lighting, Photo Booth, and our 10 Piece Band.

5:30pm Ceremony

Our Violinist & Pianist played 30 minutes prior to their Ceremony starting as guests arrived, and then performed their Ceremony songs. Click here to listen to Live Ceremony Audio from Funktastic!

6:30pm Chicago Jazz Cocktail Trio

All roads lead back to Jazz for the music that we know today! When our Vocalist & Music Director, Alysha, isn’t performing with Funktastic, she runs an Ella Fitzgerald & Louis Armstrong tribute show! You may have seen her at City Winery or Stan Mansion during her Ella & Louie residencies. We love to take this approach for cocktail hour, playing songs by all of the iconic Jazz vocalists of our time.

Our Cocktail Trio can be placed anywhere as it takes up very little space, so Audrey & Joe had us set up in the courtyard next to their guests!

7:30pm Dinner

Our expert MC, Alysha Monique, along with wireless mics for speeches & toasts, and light DJ music during entrees. Alysha Monique was not only the MC, but she is also our Lead Vocalist & Music Director. With Zoom calls planning their set list & timeline leading up to the big day, Audrey & Joe felt at ease day of, and confident we know their timeline & would also keep the day on track!
